Terms and Conditions for C’s Canine Cuts Page

We want to make sure that you and your companion are looked after to a high standard. To ensure this,
please read over our Terms and Conditions.

1. Appointment Booking and Cancellations

  • Booking: Appointments can be made via phone or email. Confirmation of the appointment will be provided via email or text message.

  • Cancellations: We understand that even the best plans can change. Please understand that we require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows will incur a fee of 50% of your selected service. You will be invoiced for payment to be made within 7 days.

2. Drop-Off and Pick-Ups

  • Drop Off: Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. Late arrivals will result in reduced grooming time or the need to reschedule the appointment. If the appointment has to be rescheduled due to insufficient time to groom within the scheduled appointment, you will incur a fee of 50% of your selected service. You will be invoiced for payment to be made within 7 days.

  • Pick-Up: Dogs must be picked up promptly at the end of their appointment. Late pickups will incur additional charges. Late pick up fee is $10 for every additional 10 minutes.

  • Leads and Collars: All dogs should be on a secure lead and wearing a collar on arrival.

3. Medical

  • Pre-existing conditions or injuries: Please inform us of any health conditions, allergies, or behavioural issues your dog may have. This includes any recent injuries, illnesses, or surgeries. Fail to do so may result in an uncomfortable experience for your dog. While we take great care to ensure the safety of your dog, we are not liable for any pre-existing conditions or injuries that may be exacerbated during grooming. In the event of an incident or injury, we will make every effort to contact you immediately.

  • Accident and Emergency: When working with dogs, incidents can occur. This is usually in the form of small nicks or cuts caused as dogs move unpredictably. In the event of an unlikely emergency, you authorise C’s Canine Cuts to seek medical attention for your dog and you agree to pay for any such medical treatment.

  • Vaccinations: All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations. We reserve the right to refuse service to any dog showing signs of illness or who has not been properly vaccinated.

  • Fleas, Ticks  and Parasites: We reserve the right to refuse service to any dog showing signs of infestations.

4. Dog Behaviour

  • Temperament: for our safety and the safety of your dog, you agree to inform us prior to any grooming service if your pet has previously displayed any aggressive behaviour including any particular triggers which cause your pet to act aggressively. We may attempt to groom your dog making use of a soft muzzle or by skipping stressful procedures such as nail trimming or blow drying. We will always try to rehabilitate them to enjoy the grooming process.

  • If the groom takes longer than the standard allocated slot due to poor behaviour, additional charge of $20 will apply for every additional 15 mins.

  • Aggressive or excessively difficult dogs may be refused service or require additional handling fees.

5. Grooming Services

  • Scope of Services: Our grooming services include but are not limited to bathing, brushing, trimming, nail clipping, and ear cleaning. Specific services requested must be communicated clearly at the time of booking and again at the beginning of the grooming appointment. We will make every effort to achieve your desired look thought we will always put ‘Hygiene before Vanity’.

  • Changes: If additional services are required or requested during the grooming session, we will notify you and seek approval before proceeding.

  • Services not available: Dental Hygiene, Anal Glands and Hand Striping.

6. Pricing and Payment

  • Fees: Fees are based on the type of grooming service and the size and condition of the dog coat and skin. Prices will be confirmed at the time of booking with the view to revising the price once the dog is onsite and the groomer has assessed the dog type, size and condition of the coat.

  • Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the grooming service. We accept Online payments and cash.

7. Complaints and Refunds

  • Satisfaction: If you are not satisfied with the grooming service, please inform us within 24 hours of the appointment. We will make every effort to address your concerns.

  • Refunds: Refunds are not typically issued unless there is a significant issue with the service provided that cannot be resolved.

8. Amendments

  • Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to clients and will be effective immediately upon posting.

10. Disclaimer

  • Social Media: Pictures of your dog will be taken and shared on social media. Owners’ details and the dog’s name will not be included. If you do not want pictures of your dog shared on social media, please make this know to C’s Canine Cuts.
